Which path to choose? Account or Audit? I am a fresh graduate from Bachelor Degree in Commerce Accounting and currently pursuing ACCA. I intern in a commercial company.

I plan to find a full time job and I'm not sure is it better to go for audit firm or accounting in commercial. Another thing factor is I realised most of the commercial company offer higher pay

Hi, naturally audit industry is more stressful and if you can afford it, usually you can have better career advancement. Commercial accounting might not be as stressful as audit industry, and you can explore more knowledge. Some people would prefer to join audit industry for few years, then venture into commercial accounting.

If you can work under pressure, then you can consider to work as Audit. As an audit, you need to work OT to complete your task before deadline especially the peak season & may meet different types of clients. But you can learnt a lot from audit.
